At Victoria’s Cake, every order is prepared with care and scheduled specifically for you. Once an order is confirmed, we may begin purchasing ingredients, preparing custom elements, ordering specialty materials, and reserving production time. For this reason, the following cancellation and refund policy applies to all orders.

 

Custom Cakes & Special Orders

All deposits and payments for custom cakes and specialty orders are non-refundable once the order has been confirmed. This includes wedding cakes, celebration cakes, custom desserts, decorated cookies, and other personalized orders.

Because custom orders require advance planning and production time, cancellations may result in the loss of your deposit or payments already made.

If you need to cancel or make changes to your order, please contact us as soon as possible. Refunds are not guaranteed and requests may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis depending on how far in advance the cancellation is made and whether work, preparation, or purchases have already been completed.

Wedding Cake Cancellations

Wedding cake orders require significant advance planning, including design preparation, ingredient ordering, scheduling, and production.

Once a wedding cake order has been confirmed and the deposit has been paid, the deposit is non-refundable.

If a wedding cake is cancelled for a reason that is not caused by Victoria’s Cake, the deposit will not be refunded. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Changes in venue requirements or restrictions

• Lack of appropriate cake storage or refrigeration at the venue

• Changes to the event plans

• Cancellation or change of venue

• The client choosing not to proceed with the order

• Other circumstances outside of Victoria’s Cake’s control

Victoria’s Cake is not responsible for circumstances or venue requirements that prevent the cake from being safely delivered, stored, displayed, or served.

If Victoria’s Cake is unable to fulfill the order due to an issue caused by the bakery, the deposit will be refunded.

Any requested changes to the cake design, size, flavors, or serving count must be approved by Victoria’s Cake and may result in an additional charge.

Standard Bakery Orders

For standard cakes, pastries, cupcakes, cookies, and other bakery orders, cancellation and refund eligibility depends on the timing of the request and whether production has already begun.

Orders that have already entered production cannot be cancelled or refunded.

Deposits

A deposit is required to reserve a date and/or begin preparation of a custom order.

Deposits are non-refundable and are not transferable to another order or date unless specifically approved by Victoria’s Cake.

Payment of a deposit constitutes acceptance of our order policies.

Date Changes & Rescheduling

Requests to change an order date must be made as early as possible and are subject to our availability.

A date change is not guaranteed and may require an additional fee, particularly when the original date has already been reserved, materials have been purchased, or production has begun.

Refunds

Approved refunds, when applicable, will be issued using the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider.

Victoria’s Cake reserves the right to review exceptional circumstances on a case-by-case basis.
